As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Michigan Men’s Health Foundation is dedicated to men’s health advocacy and the awareness, education, research, and treatment of prostate cancer and men’s health related issues.

Our Mission

The Michigan Men’s Health Foundation’s goal is to enhance men’s health engagement and encourage men to have health conversations with their families sooner to begin a generational legacy toward healthier lives.

The Men’s Health Event

The Men’s Health Event is an annual event that provides free health screenings to local men to assess current health, educate men on how to stay healthy, provide access to vital resources, and share information about advances in healthcare.

The Blue Fund

The Blue Fund provides short-term assistance to prostate cancer patients during treatment to help lessen the financial burden of cancer.

Men’s Health Survivorship Series

Men are less likely to see a doctor, ask them questions, or openly discuss health with friends and family. This series was created to provide men with expert advice from doctors and specialists to educate them and their families on men’s health issues.

Men’s Health Week

Each June the week preceding Father’s Day is marked with events that encourage men and their families to take an active role in improving their health. The Foundation’s events include Blue Monday, Cogs & Kegs, Mulligans for Men, and the Run for the Ribbon 5k.
